Your First Client in 30 Days (No Cold DMs Required)
Fiverr, Instagram, or Personal Brand — here’s the plan that actually works in 2025.
Hi Buddy,
This might surprise you.
But I didn’t land my first client with a fancy portfolio.
I didn’t have a personal brand.
And I definitely didn’t know how to pitch.
All I had was one gig, zero reviews, and hope.
I made $5. Then $10. Then more.
But that one client changed everything.
Lesson #3 – Clients Don’t Need You to Be Perfect. Just Discoverable.
If you want to get your first client in 30 days, here’s the 3-way path I recommend.
Pick one. Stick to it. Work it like crazy.
Option 1: Fiverr (Great for Beginners)
What works in 2025:
3–4 specific gigs
Use buyer language (e.g., "poster for real estate ad")
Update your tags, FAQs, and gig video (video matters!)
Don't wait. Optimize → Publish → Stay Active.
Option 2: Instagram /LinkedIn + Personal Brand (Long Game, Strong Game)
Build in public.
Show your work (no matter how small)
Share before–and–after case studies
Use stories/posts to offer free audits or “DM me for a design” hooks
Use highlights to show credibility
This builds authority AND brings clients.
Option 3: Leverage Your Network
Message 10 people in your network:
Offer to design 1 free thing for their business
Ask for feedback/testimonial
Use that to build credibility
This creates social proof → clients follow.
You can find emails from their websites, youtube’s about section, blogs etc etc…
Action Plan – What You’ll Do This Week
Choose 1 client-getting method
Set a 30-day challenge: 1 post/day OR 1 gig OR 1 pitch/day
Track your outreach and responses
Focus only on conversations, not perfection
The first client doesn’t need you to be famous.
They need you to show up where they’re looking.
